Shawn is managing director and head of True’s Venture Capital practice. During his time at True, he has led more than 150 executive searches and helped build True’s Product, Data & Technology practice.  He specializes in bringing top technical leadership to venture-backed and high-growth companies.  Some of his clients include Dropbox, 1Password, Webflow and Tenable.

Prior to joining True, Shawn spent 10+ years in startups and leading scientific innovation across the world.  He led operations and GTM for an early-stage startup where he helped secure initial venture funding and product launch.  Earlier in his career, Shawn developed scientific collaborations in more than 25 countries, working with some of the world’s top minds, including Nobel Prize winners.
