As GM, EMEA & APAC for True Search, Sam’s role is to expand the firm’s international executive search business and broader platform of talent management products and services, ensuring that True continues to grow, keeping our people-focused culture at the core of our operations.

Sam has a diverse background that combines expertise in sales, operations and risk management.  He is a transformational leader whose career spans across investment banking and military service.  Prior to joining True, Sam was based in Singapore, at Standard Chartered, where he held a number of sales leadership roles, and most recently was head of non-financial risk for the Wholesale Bank globally.

Before moving into banking, Sam was a distinguished Paratroop officer, leading elite military teams across multiple tours of Iraq and Afghanistan.  He is a best selling fitness author, holds a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Arts in Coaching.
