John joined True with more than 20 years of experience in the consumer space.  His primary focus was in the retail and E-commerce sectors and within subsidiaries of companies such as Nike, IAC/Interactive Corp and Walmart.  With a foundation in finance and operations, John brings his experience to help support True’s finance practice and is based in Boston, MA.

Prior to True, John was CFO and later president at Shoes.com (formerly an IAC, then a Walmart company), finance director at Nike and global FP&A lead at Bauer Hockey (formerly a Nike company).  Most recently, he played the role of CFO and partner at 3Step Sports, the leader in youth sports.  John began his career at Arthur Andersen in Boston after graduating from the College of the Holy Cross, where he played hockey.

Outside of the office, you will find John at dance competitions with his two daughters, at the hockey rink with his son or hiding from the kids around the fire pit with his wife, Kristin.
