Samara partners with growth, private equity, and venture-backed businesses as they seek to hire their next CEO, operator, go-to-market leader, or board member.  She is an expert in growth-stage executive search and leadership development having previously been a VP of talent at a growth equity investor specializing in early to mid-stage enterprise software investment.  Samara brings expertise in horizontal and vertical SaaS, marketplaces, supply chain, technology-enabled services and data analytics platforms.

Before rejoining True, Samara was the Head of Talent at Susquehanna Growth Equity where she built their talent function from the ground up, implementing best-in-class search processes that enabled
the portfolio to hire 130+ executives during her three-year tenure.  She also spearheaded efforts to scale their talent network, retain A+ talent, and accelerate leadership development across the portfolio.

Samara learned the art of executive search during the early days of True, where she was a principal in the go-to-market practice, leading efforts across CRO, CMO, CCO, and VP-level searches.  Samara holds a Bachelor of Arts from Philadelphia University.  She resides in the suburbs of Philadelphia with her husband, son, and two Labrador Retrievers.
