Samara partners with Growth Equity and PE-backed businesses as they seek to hire their next CEO, operator, go-to-market leader or board member. She is an expert in growth-stage executive search and leadership development having previously been a VP of Talent at a growth equity investor specializing in early to mid-stage enterprise software investment. Samara’s sector expertise spans vertical SaaS, AI-native software platforms, supply chain, technology-enabled services and regulated industries.
Before rejoining True, Samara was the VP of Talent at Susquehanna Growth Equity where she built their talent function from the ground up, implementing best-in-class search processes that enabled the portfolio to hire 130+ executives during her three-year tenure. She also spearheaded efforts to scale their talent network, retain A+ talent and accelerate leadership development across the portfolio.
Samara learned the art of executive search during the early days of True, originally joining when the firm was <150 people. Samara holds a Bachelor of Arts from Philadelphia University. She resides in the suburbs of Philadelphia with her husband, two chaotic kiddos and two Labrador Retrievers.
