Sam is a partner in True’s London office, leading CEO, Board and GTM leadership hires for application SaaS and enterprise software companies.
His sub-sector expertise spans edtech, martech, industrial technology, advertising technology and technology services. He also has extensive experience of founder succession for both private equity and venture capital portfolio companies, as well as operating partner hires for growth and buyout funds.
Sam joined True from Blackwood, a private equity-focused executive search firm, where he specialised in board, CEO and commercial functional hiring, predominantly for portfolio companies undergoing major change, restructuring or internationalisation. He has a particular specialty placing leaders into fast-growing B2B software and technology services businesses across EMEA and the US east coast.
Sam graduated with a Master of Arts in history from Gonville & Caius College, Cambridge. Outside of work, he enjoys cycling, cooking and music (in all forms)!
