Paul serves as co-Head of the Energy Transition, Industrial & Climate Tech practice at True and brings more than a decade of leadership experience in the industrial technology and sustainability sectors.

Paul specializes in C-suite placements across venture, private equity and publicly traded companies, including Powin Energy, Array Technologies, e-Zinc, Enchanted Rock, Pivot Bio, Apeel Sciences and Global Thermostat.  He has also placed principal investors at some of the leading funds in the world, including Decarbonization Partners, Quantum Energy Partners, Energy Impact Partners and Closed Loop Partners.  Paul came to executive search from the company he co-founded, Sealed Inc., a venture-backed startup which designs, manages and finances home weatherization and electrification projects.

Paul graduated from the University of Illinois with degrees in business and trumpet performance.  He is active in the arts, both as a patron and performer.  He was the founding president of the overture council of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, and is a past member of the Skokie Valley Symphony and Union League Brass Ensemble.  Paul is a seasoned international traveler and also enjoys running, swimming and skiing.
