Melvin is a partner in True’s Energy Transition & Industrial, HardTech, DeepTech & Physical AI, and Digital Infrastructure Practices, with more than 20 years of experience across Asia Pacific and North America. He advises boards and senior executives on leadership appointments across general management, commercial, strategy, operations, manufacturing, supply chain, procurement and engineering, helping clients translate business strategy into leadership decisions.
Before joining True, Melvin was a Senior Client Partner at Korn Ferry and previously worked at Heidrick & Struggles, where he specialized in industrial, semiconductor and systems, and supply chain and operations leadership. Earlier, he spent 12 years at Johnson Controls, progressing from engineering and program management into strategy and M&A initiatives focused on regional growth.
Having lived and worked extensively in the US and Singapore, Melvin combines executive search expertise with first-hand industry and operating experience to help multinational and regional businesses build and transform leadership teams across Asia Pacific.
He holds a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University, an MBA from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business, and an Executive Certificate in M&A from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
