Marcus is a principal in True’s Financial Services Practice, specializing in crypto and fintech executive search. Based in Austin, he helps founders and boards hire leaders across GTM, product, engineering, compliance and finance as digital assets converge with mainstream financial services. He works closely with True’s Blockchain and Crypto practice to build out a unified offering, bringing a cross-disciplinary perspective to one of the most rapidly evolving corners of financial services.
With nearly a decade of search experience focused on the digital assets space, Marcus has developed a deep network across the full spectrum of the industry, from early-stage DeFi and Web3 startups to established fintech platforms and institutions navigating their crypto strategies. Prior to True, he spent three years at Up Top Search building its crypto practice from the ground up, following five years at Riviera Partners where he honed his focus on technical and executive placements in financial technology.
An Austin native, Marcus lives with his wife and two children, and is a part owner of the local restaurant Comedor.
