Katie (she/her) is a partner in True’s People, Talent & Legal practice where she connects top people leaders to organizations seeking talent for their people teams. 
She brings years of experience as a leader in people functions across tech, entertainment and media companies.

Prior to True, Katie was chief people officer for Funimation (nka Crunchyroll), responsible for building and leading all elements of the people function, including HR business partnership, talent acquisition, learning & development, people operations, diversity, equity & inclusion, internal communications and workplace experience.  Katie also held several roles at Hulu, spending the majority of her time in the HRBP function and as chief of staff to the chief people officer.

Katie’s expertise centers on influencing and guiding senior executives to leverage their teams strategically for true business impact.  She has a personal passion for coaching others and building high performing leadership teams.
