Jacob returns to True as executive vice president, platform to develop new products and to collaborate with firm leadership to accelerate and deepen the platform’s global impact.
Jacob’s early career in consulting and social impact investing led him to the healthcare talent sector at Oxeon, where he learned foundational executive search frameworks. Drawn to the transformative nature of relationships to build mission-oriented businesses, he was compelled to launch and then serve as co-head of True’s Healthcare and Life Sciences Practice, a defining chapter in his career. Rubicon Founders, an entrepreneurial healthcare investment firm, recruited Jacob to be its first talent operating partner, responsible for building and leading talent acquisition, assessment, and development efforts across Rubicon’s portfolio. Jacob believes people are the most powerful and consequential force in any organization and is thrilled to be back at True.
Jacob holds a Bachelor of Arts in government and legal studies from Bowdoin College and a Master’s Degree in the business of education, focusing on entrepreneurship, from the University of Pennsylvania. Despite being born and raised in Philadelphia, Jacob is a diehard Detroit Lions fan, and rooting for the New York Yankees runs in his blood.
