Prior to joining True, Duncan worked as a research analyst at Bespoke Partners. He primarily placed CPOs and CFOs for software companies backed by investors including Thoma Bravo, Welsh Carson Anderson Stowe, Battery Ventures, and TA Associates.
He moved to Austin for sun and breakfast tacos in 2021, but is a born and bred New Englander who was more than happy to return to the northeast to join
True’s New York Office. Duncan grew up in Massachusetts and studied history at Dartmouth College.
When not working or thinking about B2B software, Duncan cooks, scours the city for interesting food and drink and plays pickup soccer. When he can, he also steals away to Vermont on the weekends to ski his favorite mountains. At work, he enjoys cycling through the 136 playlists he’s created on Spotify.
