David helps lead True’s efforts to grow its footprint in large-cap Financial Services. He also leads the Risk and Compliance practice and brings financial services expertise to our People, Talent & Legal practice. He is passionate about helping businesses transform by finding exceptional leadership talent.

He was previously a partner with a global boutique firm specializing in Financial Services functional leadership. David was based in London before relocating to NYC in 2009, which has since become home.

David helped build and lead the US business and was responsible for driving client strategy in the North America region. Functionally, David led the global legal, risk and compliance search practice, the Treasury segment of the CFO practice in addition to managing other functional leadership assignments. His clients include banks, asset managers, hedge funds, payments and cards businesses, PE firms, market utilities and oil companies.

David started his career in equity derivatives at JPMorgan, before training as a credit officer for the Coutts NatWest Group. He went on to manage market and liquidity risk for what became the RBS Wealth Management Division.

David graduated from the University of West of England in Bristol, England.
