Christopher is a partner at True and leads the firm’s Forensic Referencing Practice. He specializes in designing and managing customized, pre-partnership and pre-deal diligence projects, with a particular emphasis on human capital evaluation. Drawing on nearly twenty years of experience as a strategist and attorney, Christopher provides expert guidance to clients in high-stakes and high-impact situations, uncovering critical risks and opportunities that standard diligence processes often miss. His clientele includes Fortune 500 corporations, AMLAW 50 law firms and leading venture capital and private equity firms.
Prior to True, Christopher served as a partner at a boutique global investigations firm based in New York, where he was a leader of the business intelligence practice. During this period, he managed hundreds of complex projects and earned a ranking from Chambers & Partners as a leading practitioner in crisis & risk management for global-wide investigative due diligence. Earlier in his career, he spent a dozen years practicing law, including as a partner at a major global law firm. In that capacity, he represented corporate and individual clients in civil and criminal litigation and investigations, focusing largely on complex federal regulatory programs.
Christopher earned his JD from the University of Virginia School of Law and AB in English literature from Brown University. He has extensive experience traveling and living abroad, including in Europe, Africa and Asia.
