Carley is a partner in True’s Product, Data & Technology Practice, where she specializes in recruiting engineering and product executives for venture-backed technology companies. With more than a decade of experience working alongside high-growth startups, she partners with founders, CEOs and investors to build exceptional leadership teams.
Before joining True, Carley was employee #1 at Paradigm Search, a boutique executive search firm focused on engineering and product leadership roles. She helped build and scale Paradigm for more than three years before its acquisition by True in 2024. Throughout her career, she has partnered with category-creating companies including Zapier, Atlan, OpenRouter, Semgrep, Komodo Health, Sage Health, Onebrief, Instabase, Dandy, Squire and others, helping them recruit transformational engineering and product leaders.
Carley graduated from the University of Michigan with bachelor’s degrees in English, political science and criminal justice. She began her career in Ernst & Young’s business development organization, where she worked with high-growth startups across the Bay Area.
