Aaron Rouza joined True as one of the first dedicated search professionals within the Finance practice, and has focused exclusively on CFO and VP finance work for high-growth technology businesses during his tenure.  He has placed finance executives at premier enterprise and consumer technology businesses across North America and EMEA, with an emphasis on working with B2B software/subscription businesses across all asset classes (venture, private equity and public).  His relevant placements include post-series A finance executives through CFO’s for multibillion dollar publicly-traded companies.

He has previously split time between NYC and San Francisco and currently helps lead True’s New York finance practice team.

Before True, Aaron worked for Instart, an enterprise SaaS startup in Silicon Valley backed by Andreessen Horowitz and Kleiner Perkins.  There, he held responsibilities across sales, operations and talent acquisition.  Aaron is a Portland native and majored in economics at the University of Oregon, with an emphasis in econometrics.
