Tilanie is a partner in True’s Private Equity Practice. Based in Hamburg, she works with private equity investors and family-owned businesses to appoint CEOs, board members, and CFOs who excel in transformative and high-growth environments. With deep expertise across the industrial, technology, and consumer sectors, she advises clients throughout the DACH region, with a particular focus on small- and mid-cap organizations navigating change, succession, and value creation.
Tilanie has a strong track record of delivering senior leadership solutions that enable organizations to scale, evolve their leadership structures and realize growth ambitions. She began her executive search career at Russell Reynolds Associates and Heidrick & Struggles before moving into senior leadership roles at both regional and international boutique firms, where she served as the local lead for the DACH region and built long-lasting client relationships across sectors.
A Hogan-certified leadership advisor, Tilanie holds a master’s degree in business administration (Diplom-Kauffrau) from the University of Hamburg. She is a native German speaker and is fluent in English and Sinhalese.
