Lou is a partner in True’s Software and Enterprise Tech Practice. He joins True with an extensive background as a C-level executive and has operated in global enterprises as well as growth stage businesses. Lou’s 20+ years’ experience building high performance teams enables him to match talent to asset class and to help companies develop a culture of analytic rigor.
Prior to joining True’s Software & Enterprise Tech Practice, Lou was an operating partner at Level Equity, where he accelerated the growth of portfolio companies in part by helping them hire top GTM talent. Previously, Lou was a serial CMO specializing in B2B SaaS businesses, each of which was PE-backed and has since exited. Earlier in his career, Lou worked for global companies, both public and private, and prior to that, was a founding member of Accenture’s SAP practice as well as Sapient’s business strategy group. Having begun his career as a teacher, Lou learned early how to assess individuals’ talents to help them realize their potential.
Based out of True’s Boston office, Lou lives near Cambridge, Massachusetts, where he enjoys running along the Charles River, reading presidential biographies and spending as much time as possible with his wife and daughter.
