Justin is a partner in True’s Cybersecurity and Defense Tech Practice, where he works with private equity sponsors, venture investors, and growth-stage companies to build executive teams that drive enterprise value. Specializing in aerospace, he focuses on placing C-suite and senior leaders for PE- and VC-backed businesses across defense, advanced manufacturing, and critical industrial sectors undergoing rapid transformation.
He partners closely with operating partners, boards, and founders at key inflection points, bringing a nuanced understanding of the evolving defense and industrial landscape. His expertise spans areas including classified infrastructure, autonomy and robotics, space systems, AI-enabled platforms, advanced materials, and precision manufacturing.
Justin began his career as a U.S. Naval Officer, leading engineering divisions aboard the USS Bonhomme Richard, where he oversaw mission-critical systems and large technical teams. He later earned graduate degrees from Georgetown University and Harvard Kennedy School.
Based outside Washington, D.C. in Annapolis, Maryland, Justin lives with his wife and five children. Originally from Berkeley, California, he is an avid soccer player, coach, and dedicated youth sports parent.
