Based in True’s London office, Jonathan Guest is a partner in the Software and Enterprise Tech practice, specializing in white-collar services. He advises clients in identifying and placing board members, CEOs, presidents, COOs and chief commercial / revenue officers with a particular focus on private equity backed services and technology portfolio companies. Jonathan also supports investors directly with thematic pre-deal work, advising on and identifying buy-in chairs, CEOs and CFOs who support funds with asset identification, due diligence and value creation work.

Jonathan has 18+ years of experience in search firms serving public market and private equity funds in the middle & large cap environment with talent that supports portfolio companies going through carve-out scenario’s, founder succession, primary/secondary transactions as well as IPO readiness.

Prior to True, Jonathan worked at companies including CTPartners, Heidrick & Struggles and Wilton & Bain within their technology & services practice groups. Jonathan received a BA with honors in politics from Newcastle University.

Born in Hong Kong, he now lives in East Hampshire with his wife Claire, and two daughters, Ava and Olivia.
