EJ Murray is a principal in True’s Digital Infrastructure Practice, where he focuses on senior-level appointments across the industry. He partners with data center operators, real estate developers, infrastructure investors, and private equity firms to build leadership teams that support growth across the digitally connected ecosystem.
Before joining True, EJ founded and managed a boutique consultancy specializing in digital infrastructure, data centers, and AI. He also served as a Managing Consultant and Digital Infrastructure sub-sector lead within the Technology Practice at Korn Ferry, where he delivered executive search assignments across the global digital infrastructure landscape.
Earlier in his career, EJ spent four years leading global executive search for enterprise information management services provider Iron Mountain. There, he partnered closely with the executive leadership team on executive hiring, organizational design, and leadership strategy across all business lines worldwide. He acted as a trusted advisor on leadership bench strength, succession planning, and aligning senior talent with the company’s long-term growth objectives. Prior to Iron Mountain, EJ led Product Management and Engineering recruitment for Virtustream, a Dell Technologies hypergrowth enterprise cloud acquisition.
EJ holds a BS in Business Administration from Norwich University.
