Dave has been a thought leader in human capital for the past 30 years, working with some of the largest companies in the world as well as cutting-edge start-ups on their talent needs. He is a partner in True’s CEO and Board Practices, and also is the founder and head of the TrueBridge Practice which brings an innovative approach to providing interim and fractional executive placements.
Earlier, as a strategy consultant at McKinsey, Dave was part of the groundbreaking war for talent initiative; at Google, he designed, built and led the global executive recruiting function; most recently, he was a talent partner at Khosla Ventures working with some of the most innovative companies in the world. Dave was also a partner and practice leader at both Korn Ferry and Spencer Stuart. Before focusing on talent, Dave was an aerospace engineer, designing hypersonic aircraft for classified programs.
Dave has a Bachelor of Science in aerospace engineering from the University of Kansas, a Master of Science in aerospace engineering and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Texas.
Dave enjoys playing the piano, loves spending time with his family, and has picked up marathon running as a hobby
