Channa joined True in 2014 and has transformed a start-up function into a brand and marketing engine that drives growth across one of the world’s most respected talent platforms. She has also extended True’s spirit of innovation into her work by launching one of the industry’s first AI-optimized marketing strategies. Channa leads a global team that has built scalable marketing and communication frameworks and brand systems reflecting True’s bold vision, high performance standards, and people-centered values.
Additionally, Channa has defined internal communications as a catalyst for culture and a strategic pillar of True’s employer brand —driving engagement, transparency, and a sustained standard of high performance.
Channa is a former broadcast journalist who brings a deep understanding of narrative and influence to her work. She previously built PR and media functions at boutique communications firms serving the venture-capital ecosystem, representing both leading VC firms and the industry’s primary lobbying association in Washington, D.C.
Channa earned her Bachelor of Arts from James Madison University and splits her time between Philadelphia and Houston with her husband and children.
