Carla Casares is a principal based in Miami, specializing in go-to-market roles across various functional areas, asset classes, and industries. In addition to her expertise in GTM, she has led numerous engagements for CEO, president, and COO roles. Recent clients include Imply, Authority Brands, HoneyComb, The Knot Worldwide, ManyChat, and Matillion, among others.
Before joining True, Carla worked at Gold Coast Search Partners, a boutique executive search firm focusing on placements of private equity investment professionals.
Carla began her career at Russell Reynolds Associates, where she led senior executive searches for high-growth, private equity, and venture capital-backed technology companies, as well as Fortune 500 organizations. She was also actively involved in the firm’s diversity and inclusion practice.
Carla holds a degree in organizational studies from Pitzer College. Outside of work, she enjoys staying active through boating, sailing, and surfing, as well as exploring new restaurants and trying out new recipes.
