Bailey is a principal in True’s Energy Transition & Industrial Practice, where he advises clients across the utilities, energy transformation and EV/AV sectors. He works closely with private and public companies as well as institutional investors to place senior executives who drive innovation, sustainability, and operational impact.
Prior to joining True, Bailey spent two years with Hobbs & Towne, a boutique search firm specializing in cleantech and sustainability leadership, which was acquired by True in 2021. Earlier in his career, he interned at Envirocon, a nationally recognized environmental restoration and remediation firm, where he worked alongside project managers and estimators to analyze the economics of large-scale sustainability initiatives.
Bailey holds a double major in economics and environmental studies from Connecticut College, where he focused on sustainability. He was also deeply engaged in campus life. serving as captain of the men’s varsity basketball team, treasurer of the varsity ultimate frisbee team, member of the student-athlete advisory committee (SAAC), and proudly acted as the school mascot, the camel.
