António Menezes is a seasoned international executive with C-suite and board experience in Europe, North America, and the Middle East.
He carries extensive experience as CEO of SATA Air from 2007 to 2014, and as CEO of PrivateAir from 2015 to 2017. Additionally, he has served in many board positions on TAP Air Portugal, Nieuport Aviation Infrastructure Partners, Eliance, Jeddah Airport Company, Oman Air and Oman Airports. Menezes has also held senior executive director positions in the GCC since 2015, including executive director for Air Mobility Strategy for NEOM.
He holds a MSc and a PhD in economics, and has taught and researched in several prominent universities in the United States and Europe, including Boston College, Harvard University and Bocconi University. He has published in leading scientific journals in economics, management, finance and transportation.
Menezes also acts as a consultant in the infrastructure, travel, tourism and hospitality space, with an emphasis in developing profit lasting strategies, future proofing business plans and securing funding.
