Tom is a partner in True’s Energy Transition, Industrial & Climate Tech practice, providing a very unique perspective having been a client, a hiring manager and a candidate himself while serving as a CEO of multiple high-growth, VC-backed organizations over the past 20 years.  His experience provides him with the ability to apply first-hand operational knowledge to his searches.

Prior to True, Tom was COO of Orases, CEO of Blue Pillar, CEO of CURRENT (acquired by Ormazabal) and VP / GM of Efficient Networks (IPO: EFNT then acquired by Siemens).  He has also been at the forefront of the broadband, smart grid, smart metering, smart building, big data and IoT industry transformations and has extensive experience in semiconductor, hardware, professional services and SaaS product strategies.  Tom also has held various board member positions and served as an operating partner in the advisory practice of Hobbs & Towne before being acquired by True Search in 2021.
