Based out of the San Francisco office, Tessa is currently a partner in True’s Go-to-Market Practice where she works on C-suite and VP B2B and B2C searches for high-growth VC, PE and public companies. She has spent a decade doing go-to-market executive search
in a variety of tech verticals.
Prior to executive search, Tessa held GTM senior operational roles for 12 years in edtech at McGraw Hill & Pearson Education in sales, operations and as a senior director of product and marketing (directly responsible for $25M P&L) and senior director of product and digital strategy (right-hand lieutenant of GM – $300M BU).
Tessa holds a bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University. After college, she spent three years as a math and science teacher for Teach For America, providing equitable education in underserved communities in The Bronx and San Francisco. Tessa is passionate about DE&I—80% of her placements since joining True have been diverse executives.
