Scott Yen

Scott is a partner in True’s Finance Practice and is based in San Francisco. He brings over 25 years of executive search, entrepreneurship, and technology investment banking experience.

Before he found his passion for executive search, Scott spent over 12 years in technology investment banking at G2 Capital, Wunderlich Securities, Capstone Partners, and Arthur Andersen, where he advised investors and C-level executives in complex M&A, Financing, and IPO transactions. Scott also founded and sold Aquavista, a global e-commerce pet products company with customers such as Amazon, Costco, and Petsmart.

Prior to True, Scott led the financial services and technology practice of a national boutique retained executive search firm, where he partnered with leading fintech and technology companies, ranging from venture-backed startups to publicly-traded companies, to build best-in-class leadership teams.

Scott earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of California at Berkeley. He lives in San Francisco with his wife, two young children, and newly adopted kitten.
