Nick Chia is a partner in True’s CEO and Board practices based in Singapore. As a trusted advisor to global clients and with 23 years of industry experience, Nick is poised to expand our business both globally and in the Asia Pacific region.

Prior to joining True, Nick served as a managing director at Russell Reynolds,where he completed several high-profile assignments, including adding an Asian female board member to a UK-based technology company and recruiting digital-savvy board members for a listed Southeast Asian company. Nick also has functional expertise in technology-driven positions and has led many succession programs for clients.

Nick previously managed his own consulting firm, which he founded after spending 15 years at Egon Zehnder. Throughout his career, Nick has focused on C-level executive searches and leadership advisory projects, and the recruitment of non-executive board members, for technology, financial services and industrial products and services companies in the Asia Pacific region. A fan of behavioral economics, he tries to apply its principles to decision making about people to create more productive and enriching working environments.

Nick holds a BS in telecommunications management and an MBA in marketing management from Syracuse University.
