Nick Chia is a managing director in True’s CEO and Board Practices based in Singapore. As a trusted advisor to global clients and with 25 years of industry experience, Nick is poised to expand our business both globally and in the Asia Pacific region.
Prior to joining True, Nick served as a managing director at Russell Reynolds, where he completed several high-profile assignments, including adding an Asian board member to a UK-based technology company, recruiting digital-savvy board members for a listed Southeast Asian company and conducting CEO succession for a Southeast Asian bank. Nick previously managed his own consulting firm, which he founded after spending 15 years at Egon Zehnder.
At True, Nick focuses on digital infrastructure, semiconductor and photonics, and climate technology, three interdependent sectors which leverage the innovation and manufacturing strengths of the Asian region to accelerate the adoption of AI.
Nick holds a BS in telecommunications management and an MBA in marketing management from Syracuse University. A fan of behavioral economics, he tries to apply its principles to create more productive and enriching working environments.
