Maëlys is the head of the Finance Practice and located in the Berlin office. With over twelve years of professional experience in executive search, she focuses on hiring senior finance executives for leading high-growth venture capital and private equity-backed technology companies. Over the last few years of years, Maëlys has expanded her scope to working closely with family-owned companies in the industrial and media sector, as well as large publicly listed companies in the consumer space.
Prior to True, Maëlys acquired first-hand experience in executive search in France, while working for Neumann International and focusing on recruiting C-level executives across all industries. After moving to Berlin, she worked for Atheneum partners, an expert network providing market knowledge to leading investors and consulting firms.
Maëlys studied franco-american law at Nanterre University in Paris and San Francisco’s Golden Gate University. She holds a master’s degree in international business law, as well as a Master of Laws (LLM) in U.S. legal studies.
