Anna Buettell

Principal

Anna is a principal in True’s CEO and Board Practices. She specializes in board, CEO, and general management placements across sectors such as enterprise software, artificial intelligence, consumer internet, eCommerce, marketplaces and security. 

Before joining True, Anna worked at Heidrick & Struggles in the CEO and Board Practices, where she built broad industry expertise. She has worked with Fortune 500 companies, private equity and venture capital firms, and their portfolio companies. 

Anna has a Bachelor of Science degree in human and organizational development from Vanderbilt University. She resides in Chicago, IL.
