Samara started in executive search during the early days of True where she was a Principal in the Sales, Marketing & Customer Success practice leading efforts across CRO, CMO, CCO, and VP-level searches.

Samara will work with growth, private equity, and venture-backed businesses as they seek to hire their next CEO, board member and other executives. She brings expertise in horizontal and vertical SaaS, marketplaces, supply chain, technology-enabled services, and data analytics platforms.

Samara was previously the head of talent at Susquehanna Growth Equity, where she built their talent function from the ground up, implementing best-in-class search processes that enabled the portfolio to hire 130+ executives during her three-year tenure. She also spearheaded efforts to scale their talent network, retain A+ talent, and accelerate leadership development across the portfolio. Samara lives in the suburbs of Philadelphia with her husband, son, and two Labrador retrievers.
