Dan is a managing director in True’s San Francisco office. He specializes in placing general managers, product management, engineering and IT/data science executives for Large-Cap Public as well as commercial leaders for PE & Growth backed portfolio companies. His vertical expertise spans consumer, hardware, tech enabled services and enterprise software.
Previously, as an operating partner at Diversis Capital, a lower-mid market PE firm with $1 billion in assets under management, specializing in software and technology-enabled services businesses, he crafted the playbook and spearheaded the talent function. He also served as the primary liaison with portfolio and external service providers for pivotal human capital endeavors. Prior to that, Dan assumed a pivotal position as the managing partner at Calibre One, where he was appointed to the global operating committee, tasked with overseeing profit and loss management, fostering the vitality and scale of the US Operations. Notably, his tenure was characterized by an unparalleled trajectory of revenue augmentation and headcount expansion.
Dan is an operating advisor to Emergence Software, an acquirer of third-party applications in enterprise software ecosystems backed by significant committed equity capital from The Pritzker Organization. Additionally, he is an advisor to the Cortado Group, the leading GTM advisory firm focused on optimizing revenue intelligence, revenue operations, product, pricing, sales, marketing and customer success.
Dan holds an MBA from Golden Gate University and a BA in Communications from the University of Minnesota.
