Developing, learning, and growing over time isn’t easy. As Chris O’Neill told True Builders host Josh Withers, it takes hard work and dedication.
Chris is Chief Growth Officer at Xero, and former CEO of Evernote, head of Google Canada, and general manager of Google’s moonshot factory. Chris said that while he’s had his fair share of wins, he attributes much of his success to learning from his losses.

When it comes to personal and professional development, he says:
-
Become an architect of your future. Learn from your experiences and figure out how to apply those lessons to future life chapters.
-
Invest in discovering your ideal life recipe. Figure out how much sleep you need and what actions and habits help you center yourself, then double down.
By doing these things, Chris says you can emerge a little stronger, more resilient and more self-aware. Then you can become a more effective leader with each experience—wins, losses and setbacks.
