TrueBridge CEO David Beuerlein and TrueBridge Talent Network member Karyn Scott spoke to The Wall Street Journal in the article, “‘Fractional executive’ jobs are creating new options for mid- to late-career professionals; ‘What is the “third third” of your career going to look like?’”
The article explored how fractional executive roles are gaining traction as workers are living longer and working through to later stages in life–and as later career, experienced executives are seeking out opportunities for more flexibility.
David told the WSJ’s Francesca Fontana, that fractional executives in the TrueBridge Talent Network are highly-experienced and highly sought after in their respective industries because of their track records of success. “In our talent pool, the median years of experience is 26 years,” he said.
One of those experienced TrueBridge Talent Network members is fractional CMO Karyn Scott. She said, “I needed all of those experiences, to be at the big companies like Cisco and Salesforce, at the scrappy startups, so that I could come to my clients with a broader portfolio.”
The future of work is always changing. At True, we see many different versions of that future–and one of them is fractional.
