True Innovation: AI-Driven Data Talent Acquisition

Watch the full conversation here.

At True we know that the world of artificial intelligence has intersected with the world of talent for many years.  Because of our connections to the most innovative companies and talent, we’ve been working with machine learning and AI companies since our founding in 2012.

And even with that familiarity, the CEOs and senior executives across our platform are united in their assessment that this period, right now, is the most exciting time for AI that we’ve seen yet.

Generative AI has inspired everyone to incorporate AI technologies into their products and services – and that includes the businesses across the True Platform.

We gathered True leaders to delve into the promises and pitfalls of using artificial intelligence to find talent.

Takeaways

For Talent Owners:

Take risks: Even if they’re small, incremental usage of any AI tool can make material differences in the long run. Don’t be afraid to jump in.

Start with a clear goal: There are myriad tools out there around AI. Don’t be a hammer looking for a nail. Start with an objective and then decide which tool can help you achieve it.

Be watchful for bias: If DEI is an organizational mandate, know that AI tools are only as good as the data sets they mine. If data sets contain bias, that will be translated into the AI results.

For Executives:

Be intentional with your public profile: The details, the word choices, and everything you put out publicly is the data that is populating several AI tools. Make sure that you are intentional about your brand and how you’re describing yourself, your background, and your work experience.

Use the tools in front of you: There are tools out there that can help you find your next role and enable you to express interest in those roles whether you’re at the early early-or-mid career stage, or at the executive level.

The overall consensus is that this is the first inning for AI there is a lot more left to be developed. Our panelists see the art of the possible and there is a lot to come for AI in recruiting.
