In 2016, Inc. named Jopwell founders Porter Braswell and Ryan Williams to their 30 Under 30 list featuring young founders taking on world challenges.

This week, Inc. updated their story: True is acquiring Jopwell, a hiring platform focused on advancing the careers of Black, Latinx and Native American students and early-to-mid-career professionals. Together, Jopwell and True’s goal is to address diversity at every stage of the recruitment lifecycle.

The feature story by Lauren Huttner explains that this deal comes at a critical moment in DE&I hiring. According to Inc., recent data and recruiting experts agree: Diversity, equity, and inclusion recruiting is, and will remain a priority, even through this current economic downturn.

"Now that we're part of a global talent platform, we can offer our community members more resources and tools as they become senior-level professionals and ready for executive and board-level support," said Porter Braswell. "Jopwell and True can now be the single-point solution for a company's diversity recruitment needs beginning with internships through C-suite and board placements."
