Dubai, UAE- April 23, 2024—True, the only tech and data-first global talent platform, announced today that Catherine Broome has joined the company as a partner in the Consumer practice where she will lead True’s business efforts to grow its presence in the rapidly growing Middle East market, specifically in the elevated consumer space.

Catherine joins the Consumer practice to complement True's existing expertise in the sector. Her location in Dubai also gives True a strong reach into other Asian markets.
As a managing director at another top executive talent firm, Catherine led executive search assignments within the global consumer practice, specializing in senior and C-suite placements within the fashion and luxury industries.
“We're building something unique to the search industry: a collection of complimentary professionals specialized in recruiting within different areas of the consumer sector. Each member focuses on a particular consumer segment, with a deep understanding and authority. Equally, I'm excited about the growth of this region and the pivotal role it is undoubtedly playing in the evolution of global consumer spending,” said Catherine.
Catherine has lived and worked in major cities around the globe. In Milan, she worked for another leading global search firm working on international placements within luxury and fashion, before returning to London in 2016. Running both the UK and European markets as head of luxury and fashion, Catherine developed the Middle East market over several years, making a full move to Dubai in 2022. She has extensive international experience delivering high-profile senior talent to privately owned portfolio businesses, designer-led brands, multinational corporations, and online specialty retailers.
A UK native, Catherine has lived and worked in London, Italy, Switzerland, Istanbul and now lives in Dubai. She is fluent in Italian and is pursuing a PhD, researching the evolution of family business in luxury and innovation, with the intention of using her dissertation to build a model for succession planning. She is also a guest lecturer at a top university in London.
