Singapore - March 5, 2024—True, the only tech and data-first global talent platform, announced today that Partner Sean Lee will take the helm as regional lead of True’s Asia operations, effective March 1st, 2024. Alex Gold, the regional lead since 2017 and True’s first hire in Asia, will return his focus solely to search and will remain with True Search as a partner.
Lee will lead the growth strategy and day-to-day operations for Singapore and broader Asia, True’s fast-growing region. He will also remain a key partner in the Healthcare and Life Sciences practices and support clients globally.

Before True, Lee was a managing director in the digital technology and healthcare practice at another leading executive search firm. He also led executive talent recruitment at Blue Shield of California, an award-winning insurance company, where he helmed mission-critical leadership talent searches during a period of exponential growth.
Lee brings a deep understanding of the opportunities and challenges that face clients in the APAC region as they build their teams and scale their businesses both regionally and globally. Within True, Lee has led and operationalized the DEI initiatives that not only foster True to be a more inclusive place to work but also help equip clients with the tools to recruit and retain top talent from underrepresented groups.
