Ryan Williams is the co-founder and CEO of Jopwell, a platform that connects Black, Latinx and Native Americans with opportunities for career advancement.
Before founding Jopwell, Ryan worked as an analyst in foreign exchange sales at Goldman Sachs, on the same trading floor as co-founder Porter Braswell. During his time on Wall Street, Ryan developed a passion for both broadening the conversation around diversity in the workplace and increasing opportunities available to underrepresented groups. In 2014, Ryan left Wall Street, joined forces with Porter, and launched Jopwell to help unlock career advancement and development opportunities for Black, Latinx and Native American talent.
Ryan was featured on: Forbes 2018 "30 Under 30" list; Fast Company’s 2017 “100 Most Creative People in Business”; and Inc. Magazine’s 2016 “30 Under 30” lists. He has been a featured speaker at events and conferences including the Fast Company Innovation Festival, the Peer 150 HR National Summit, the DISC Sports Diversity & Inclusion Symposium and NABA, Inc. events.
Ryan earned his degree in finance from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
