Peterson sits in True's Software and Enterprise Tech practice, where he focuses on placing Go-to-Market leaders into private equity and venture-backed technology businesses.
Prior to True, Peterson spent over six years at ECA Partners, where he was a managing director focused on retained and interim search placements across private equity firms and their portfolio companies. Before transitioning to executive search, Peterson worked in sales and business development for several VC-backed software companies in Los Angeles.
Peterson earned his undergraduate degree in economics from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Originally from Alabama, he has been living in Santa Monica for over a decade. While he will never adopt the LA sports teams, he does consider it to be home now.
